Many
species of the Fabaceae or
Leguminosae have flowers that show nearly no UV-reflexion and appear therefore
black in UV images. However, in this case parts of the flower has parts that
are very reflective and others that are completely UV-dark, so that it shows a
very characteristic pattern.
